Machu Picchu, Peru (2009). Visited Machu Picchu on Oct 24-25, 2009, during my solo backpack trip to South America. The first day is treking on the Inka Trail mostly, the second day, we woke up extremely early and had a guide tour in Machu Picchu. It is the first highlight in the trip.
